Holi Milan Celebration Held at Savitri Government Women’s Hostel, Rohilkhand University

Bareilly: Students of Savitri Government Women’s Hostel at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University celebrated a vibrant Holi Milan programme on the hostel premises ahead of the Holi holidays.

Before leaving for their respective hometowns, the students came together to mark the festival by applying colours and gulal to one another. The celebration was filled with joy as students sang traditional phag songs from their native regions, danced enthusiastically, exchanged sweets, and extended warm Holi greetings to each other.

Vice-Chancellor Professor K.P. Singh, Registrar Harish Chandra, Controller of Examinations Sanjeev Kumar, and Hostel Warden Dr. Jyoti Pandey conveyed their advance wishes to the students for a safe and joyous Holi. They encouraged the students to celebrate the festival with harmony and positivity.

The programme witnessed active participation from hostel staff members Meena Pandey, Neelakshi, and Rakhi, along with students Shweta, Tanisha, Tanu, Saniya, Asha, Diksha, Manya, Satya Sakshi, Vaishnavi, Amrita, Priyanka, and others, who contributed to making the celebration lively and memorable.

The event concluded on a cheerful note, reflecting unity, cultural diversity, and festive spirit among the students.
