Hardoi: In view of the forthcoming Member of Legislative Council (MLC) elections from the Lucknow Division Graduate Constituency, journalist Jitendra Singh Yadav, a prospective independent candidate, undertook a two-day tour of Hardoi district to connect with people and seek their support.
During his outreach, Yadav said that he aims to become a strong voice for graduates, educated unemployed youth, and the younger generation. He stated that, if elected, he would work selflessly in the Upper House to raise their concerns and remain committed to finding practical and effective solutions to their problems.

As part of his public contact programme, Yadav visited Sandila, Kachhauna, Baghauli, Tandiyaawan, Hardoi, and Madhoganj, where he interacted with graduate voters and members of the intelligentsia, appealing for their cooperation and support in the upcoming election.
The campaign in Hardoi formally began after Yadav offered prayers at the Balaji Temple in Khetui. During the tour, he met several prominent personalities, including Sanjeev Singh Kushwaha, newly elected Vice-President of the Hardoi Bar Association; Yogesh Tyagi, State President of the Junior School Teachers’ Association; Sudhanshu Mishra, President of the Hardoi Journalists’ Association; and Ritesh Singh, District President of Maharana Pratap Sena. He also interacted with numerous advocates, journalists, graduate voters, intellectuals, and well-wishers, seeking their support for the elections.

During the visit, Yadav also expressed condolences at the residence of Omkar, brother of Sarvesh Saxena of Baghauli Chauraha, following his demise. He extended financial assistance to the bereaved family as a gesture of solidarity.
The two-day tour concluded in Madhoganj, where Yadav paid floral tributes on the death anniversary of late Rajeshwari Agnihotri, Principal of Tagore Education Centre, at the school premises. Several supporters, associates, and well-wishers accompanied him throughout the programme.
The outreach initiative reflects Yadav’s effort to build direct engagement with graduate voters and reinforce his commitment to representing their interests in the Legislative Council.
