350th Martyrdom Anniversary Observed at Sadar Gurudwara, Lucknow with Devotion and Simplicity

Lucknow: The 350th Shaheedi Samagam was held at Sadar Gurudwara, Lucknow, honoring the martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji with devotion, simplicity, and heartfelt respect.

Gurudwara President S. Tejpal Singh shared that the event featured devotional hymns by Veer Davendra Singh (Yash Bharti awardee) and Bhai Gurmeet Singh Ji, who enthralled the congregation with their soulful kirtan.

Giani Harvinder Singh Ji delivered a moving account of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji’s sacred life, emphasizing his supreme sacrifice and dedication to human rights. His narration highlighted the Guru’s unwavering commitment to protecting freedom of conscience and religious liberty.

Acting President of the Lucknow Gurudwara Management Committee, S. Harpal Singh Jaggi, stated that a health camp was organized during the special diwan by Guru Har Rai Diagnostic Center, offering several free medical tests and others at highly subsidized rates.

Addressing the gathering, S. Harpal Singh Jaggi said:
“Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji opposed forced religious conversion and kindled the flame of human rights worldwide. This struggle was fought to protect religion, freedom of conscience, and respect for all faiths.”

Senior Vice President S. Inder Singh Ji noted that the event’s success was made possible by the contributions of S. Kulbir Singh Kohli, S. Jasvinder Singh Bedi, S. Inderjit Singh Khalsa, S. Bhupendra Singh Bhaseen, S. Hardeep Singh Nand, S. Surendra Singh Golu, and S. Gurmeet Singh Rajpal.

The samagam witnessed a large turnout of the sangat, who paid their respects and solemnly honored the legacy of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji.
