Lucknow: In observance of Traffic Awareness Month 2025, the Lucknow Traffic Police have intensified their efforts to ensure road safety and compliance with traffic rules. Despite daily awareness campaigns conducted by Traffic Inspectors and Sub-Inspectors, numerous violations were recorded across major intersections and road junctions in the district.
A total of 1,319 e-challans were issued for various offenses, with the breakdown as follows:
- Riding two-wheelers without helmets: 954
- No-parking violations: 105
- Faulty number plates: 25
- Vehicles without insurance: 9
- Wrong-side driving: 32
- Three riders on a two-wheeler: 78
- Vehicles seized: 0
The traffic authorities have urged the public to follow traffic rules and cooperate with the police to ensure smooth and safe road movement throughout the city.
