Mumbai: Actor Sharman Joshi has deepened his relationship with one of Bhutan’s biggest and most respected travel companies, by officially coming on board as their Brand Ambassador. Sharman has been associated with the team for the past year, and the partnership has now been extended for another two years following a successful first phase.
For Sharman, Bhutan is a place he says he connected with instantly — from the quiet monasteries tucked into hillsides, the warmth of the people and the unhurried rhythm of life that feels worlds away from the chaos of city schedules. That personal connection, he says, is what made the continuation of the partnership feel “almost obvious.”
Speaking about the association, Sharman shared, “My first trip to Bhutan stayed with me long after I returned. There’s a calm in the air there that you don’t find easily anymore. Nature Wings understood exactly how to show Bhutan without disturbing that calm. They treat it with the respect it deserves. That’s why I felt comfortable extending this partnership. It feels authentic and it’s the one place that feels like a therapy.”

Nature Wings Holidays believes Sharman’s genuine affection for the country makes him the right face to represent them as they expand their Bhutan offerings. According to the team, travellers responded strongly to their collaboration last year, prompting them to build a larger, longer-term vision together.
Over the next two years, the partnership aims to highlight Bhutan through a more immersive and enriched experience– going beyond the familiar postcard-worthy spots to highlight the country’s culture, its emphasis on community-driven tourism and the everyday harmony that defines life there. Sharman and Nature Wings want to inspire travellers to look a little deeper, explore lesser-known regions responsibly and understand why Bhutan’s approach to happiness and sustainability is so admired globally. The larger goal is to promote journeys that ensures that the purity of the place remains untouched for future travellers.
