Woman’s Lost Bag with Valuables Retrieved by ‘Mission Shakti’ Team at Aminaabad Police Station

LUCKNOW: In an incident highlighting the swift response of police under the Mission Shakti Phase 5 campaign, a woman’s bag containing important documents and cash, which she had accidentally left in an auto-rickshaw, was successfully recovered and returned to her by the Aminaabad police team.

The woman, identified as Upasana Gupta, was out shopping when the incident occurred. After realising her bag was missing, she immediately reported the loss under the Mission Shakti Phase 5 initiative.

Valuables in the Lost Bag

The lost bag contained several important items and valuables, including:

  • Two bank checks totaling Rs. 80,000
  • One mobile phone
  • Rs. 800 in cash
  • Two pairs of clothing

Prompt Police Action

Responding quickly to the report, the Mission Shakti Phase 5 team at Aminaabad Police Station launched a search operation.

The dedicated team responsible for the successful recovery included:

  • Sub-Inspector (SI) Gaurav Kumari
  • Sub-Inspector (SI) Shuchi Sawant
  • Chowki In-charge Shailendra Kumar Sengar
  • Constable Deepak Kumar

The team located the missing bag and promptly handed it over to the rightful owner, Upasana Gupta, who expressed immense relief and gratitude for the police’s diligence and support under the Mission Shakti program. This incident further underscores the commitment of the police to the security and assistance of women in the city.
