LUCKNOW – The Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2025 will showcase the state’s economic, cultural, and industrial prowess. The event, in its third edition, will not only highlight past successes but also serve as a platform for the Yogi government to launch new schemes and policies aimed at attracting investors and positioning the state as a global manufacturing hub.
Showcasing Achievements and New Initiatives
The government will feature its flagship schemes, including the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative, the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor, and the extensive network of expressways, such as the Ganga Expressway. Other major projects like the Digital Investment Portal and the Global Investors Summit will also be highlighted.

Simultaneously, the government is expected to unveil new schemes during the event. These may include fresh industrial incentive policies, an MSME Vendor Development Program, and special schemes to boost exports. There could also be announcements regarding support for innovation, promotion of women entrepreneurship, and subsidies for startups.
Reaching a Global Audience
To ensure a broad international presence, the Yogi government has requested Indian embassies and foreign missions to promote the event. Information about the Hosted Buyer Program is being shared with key buyers, chambers, and trade bodies in relevant countries. A widespread promotional campaign is also underway within India, covering metro stations, airports, bus stands, and television channels. The event will also feature cultural programs to showcase Uttar Pradesh’s folk art and heritage.

High-Profile Attendance
The event will be graced by the presence of several Union Ministers, including Minister of Commerce Piyush Goyal, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh, MSME Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, and Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. State ministers, MLAs, and other VIPs will also attend, underscoring the event’s importance.
Meticulous Planning Underway
Preparations for the grand event are in their final stages. Committees have been formed to manage various aspects, including visitor mobility, protocol, affordable food services, transportation, parking, branding, accommodation, cultural programs, and traffic management. The police department is implementing special security measures to ensure a smooth and safe event.
