Experts Praise CM Yogi for Successful UPSIFS Seminar; Say Event Raised Forensic Science Awareness
LUCKNOW: The vision of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to equip Uttar Pradesh with future-oriented technologies to prepare for evolving challenges is gaining praise from experts. Following the successful conclusion of a three-day seminar organized by the Uttar Pradesh Institute of Forensic Sciences (UPSIFS) in Lucknow under the guidance of CM Yogi, experts expressed their gratitude.
Praising CM Yogi for bringing the ‘Law with Labs’ vision to life, they said the seminar helped spread awareness about forensic science, which will particularly benefit young students aspiring to make a career in this field. According to experts, the seminar not only provided students with information on ground-level changes but also offered valuable insights into global shifts, the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), and other future-based technologies. This knowledge, they said, would serve as both an inspiration and a guide for their future careers.
Prominent experts from both India and abroad participated in the event, and their suggestions are expected to help in the modernization of the state’s police system. Experts also believe that with the kind of facilities being provided by the state government, UPSIFS will become a milestone not only in India but throughout South Asia in the future.
Seminar as a Medium for Spreading Forensic Science Awareness
Dr. Shivli, an Additional Professor at the Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology at KGMU, expressed her delight at the seminar’s success. She said that the three-day seminar at UPSIFS, guided by CM Yogi, was special in many ways. According to her, forensic science is a field that requires a great deal of awareness. The seminar was not only beneficial for young people building a career in this field but would also help the police department understand and resolve new challenges and situations, which would significantly benefit the public. She added that the modernization of UPSIFS with advanced facilities reflects CM Yogi’s commitment, for which he deserves commendation.
Helpful in Devising Strategies for Problem Resolution and Efficient Management
Experts attending the seminar acknowledged that CM Yogi’s efforts to modernize the infrastructure of various systems in the state, keeping in mind the needs of the time, are commendable. They noted that UPSIFS is among the few institutions in India and South Asia equipped with such modern facilities.

According to Dr. Nihar Ranjan, a faculty member at NIPER, Rae Bareli, the seminar was a very meaningful effort to help students elevate their careers in the forensic stream. While expressing his gratitude to the Yogi government, he noted that a great selection of speakers was made for the event.
