Lucknow: A 15-year-old mentally challenged boy, who had been missing for the past two months, was successfully reunited with his family by the Thakurganj police.
The boy’s distraught mother had approached SHO Thakurganj, Shrikant Rai, in tears, seeking help to locate her missing son. Responding to the plea, SHO Rai promptly deployed a police team to track down the teenager.
The police team meticulously examined CCTV footage from multiple areas, leveraged social media platforms, and conducted extensive searches across different localities. Their persistent efforts eventually led to a breakthrough, and the boy was found safe.
After ensuring his well-being, the police handed the boy over to his relieved family. Overwhelmed with joy, the boy’s mother and relatives expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the police team for their dedication and relentless efforts.
The successful recovery of the teenager was made possible due to the commendable work of Outpost In-charge Ring Road, Manuj Kumar Malik, along with Constables Sunil Kumar and Nitish Pandey. Their dedication was instrumental in bringing the boy back home safely.
