Lucknow: With the upcoming festivals of Ramzan, Holi, and Eid, the Excise Department in Lucknow has intensified its crackdown on illegal liquor sales. Under the direction of ACP Rajkumar Singh of Chowk Kotwali, a joint operation was launched by Thakurganj Inspector, Chowk Inspector, and their police teams in collaboration with the Excise Department.
The initiative aims to curb the illegal sale of liquor across the city, ensuring law and order during the festive period. As part of this drive, police and excise teams have been conducting surprise inspections at liquor outlets and carrying out raids in various parts of Lucknow.
Authorities have warned of strict action against those involved in the unlawful sale of alcohol. The operation is expected to continue in the coming days to maintain a safe and secure environment during the festive season.
