Lucknow: In November 2024, Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (CCSIA) in Lucknow set a new milestone, handling a record 6.29 lakh passengers. The airport reported a significant increase in both domestic and international travel, with 1.05 lakh foreign and 5.24 lakh domestic passengers.
Passenger traffic at CCSIA rose by over 12% compared to November 2023, when the airport handled 5.6 lakh passengers. The average daily footfall surged to more than 21,000, up from 18,600 the previous year.
Dubai, Muscat, and Dammam were the top foreign destinations, while Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru led domestic traffic. November 10 and November 17 marked the highest daily passenger numbers, with 22,686 and 22,986 passengers, respectively.
With expanded flight schedules and new routes, CCSIA now serves 29 domestic and 10 international destinations, offering increased convenience for travelers.
