Lucknow, December 20, 2024: The 10-day Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC), organized by the 3 UP Naval Unit NCC Lucknow, concluded on a high note with the visit of Brigadier Neeraj Punetha, Group Commander, NCC Group Headquarters Lucknow. Brigadier Punetha was warmly received by the Camp Commandant, Commander Gaurav Shukla.
The visit commenced with a formal Guard of Honour presented to the Group Commander, reflecting the precision and discipline inculcated among the cadets during the camp, followed by enthralling Naval Band display.
The camp witnessed the enthusiastic participation of approximately 346 cadets from various institutions and battalions in lucknow, who underwent rigorous training sessions and engaged in diverse activities designed to enhance their leadership, teamwork, and discipline.
To mark the penultimate evening of the camp, a cultural program and campfire were organized, showcasing the cadets’ creativity and team spirit. The performances reflected the incredible talent and hard work of the cadets.
During his visit, Brigadier Punetha commended the cadets for their dedication and active participation in the training sessions. He also appreciated the efforts of the camp staff and Instructors in successfully conducting the camp and ensuring a meaningful experience for all the participants.
The camp provided cadets with opportunities to enhance their skills in navigation, seamanship, disaster management, and physical endurance, preparing them for future challenges and fostering a sense of responsibility and patriotism.
The event concluded with the distribution of certificates and awards to outstanding cadets, marking the end of a memorable and enriching experience for all involved.
