Lucknow – Amity Innovation Incubator at Amity University Lucknow Campus hosted the “Chiratae Sonic Mixer” in association with U.P. Electronics Corporation Ltd, Department of IT & Electronics, Government of Uttar Pradesh, and Chiratae Ventures Ecosystem. The event explored topics such as Scaling Technology Innovations in India and Identifying and Backing Disruptive Innovations.
The Chiratae Sonic Mixer, in collaboration with StartInUP, brought together investors, startup accelerators, incubators, founders, and leaders from the Uttar Pradesh government for an enriching session focused on technology, startup scaling, and innovation.
The event was inaugurated by esteemed dignitaries, including Ravi Ranjan (IAS), Managing Director, Department of IT & Electronics, Government of Uttar Pradesh; Anil Kumar Sagar (IAS), Principal Secretary, Department of IT & Electronics, Government of Uttar Pradesh; Neha Jain (IAS), Special Secretary, IT & Electronics, Government of Uttar Pradesh, and Managing Director, UPDESCO; Rahul Singh (IAS), Special Secretary, IT & Electronics, Government of Uttar Pradesh, and Managing Director, SHREETRON; Tanvi Dubey, Head of Marketing, Chiratae Ventures; representatives from Chiratae Ventures; Wg. Cdr. Dr. Anil Kumar Tiwari, Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor, Amity University Lucknow; and Prof. (Dr.) Meera Singh, Head of the Entrepreneurship Cell, Amity University Lucknow Campus. The inauguration ceremony included the traditional lighting of the lamp.
Addressing the gathering, Ravi Ranjan (IAS) emphasized the challenges startups face in securing support and funding. He highlighted the efforts of the Uttar Pradesh government in creating an enabling environment for startups to grow and thrive. He remarked, “Events like this provide a platform to collaborate on innovative ideas, market strategies, funding needs, and societal impact, which can be immensely beneficial for incubators and new startups.”
Prof. (Dr.) Meera Singh welcomed the guests and described the event as “a remarkable platform where innovation meets collaboration, transforming ideas into impactful solutions.” She reiterated the university’s commitment to supporting startups and ensuring their progress in Uttar Pradesh.
Wg. Cdr. Dr. Anil Kumar Tiwari remarked, “The vision of our Prime Minister for a Viksit Bharat by 2047 is a dream we all share. Startups will transform the image of our country, and education plays a pivotal role in this transformation. Under the leadership of our visionary founders, Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan and Dr. Aseem Chauhan, Amity University, has become a beacon of excellence and leadership. Tanvi Dubey, Head of Marketing at Chiratae Ventures, introduced Chiratae Ventures and the Chiratae Sonic Mixer initiative.
The event featured two engaging panel discussions on Scaling Technology Innovations in India and Identifying and Backing Disruptive Innovations: Opportunities and Challenges
The sessions included insights from industry leaders such as Ankit Kumar, Co-founder & CEO of SkyeAir; Kailash Nath, a Chiratae portfolio founder (TBD); and Sarthak Biswas from Chiratae Ventures. The discussions concluded with an interactive Q&A session with the audience.
