Lucknow: The process of worshipping the Goddess started in Durga Puja pandals from dawn on Wednesday, which continued till late night with the darshan of devotees and dandiya, garba. Shashthadi Kalpaarambh and Shashthi Vihita Puja of Goddess Durga were performed in the morning at Chandganj Garden in Aliganj on behalf of TransGomti Dussehra Durga Puja Committee. In the evening, the Goddess was invited and abode was held. Devotees worshipped the Bel tree.
Mahasashthi Kalpaarambh was performed in the morning at Khunkhunji Girls PG College in Chowk on behalf of Kolkata Swarnakar Kalyanarth Samiti and at Sri Sri Sarvajanin Durga Puja by Mitra Sangh. After this, the bodhan invitation of the Goddess and Pran Pratishtha took place in the evening.
In Durga Puja, a grand procession was taken out in the afternoon in Sector-6 of Jankipuram Extension by Sri Janaki Mahila Mandal and in the evening, the Maha Aarti of the Goddess was performed. The bodhan, invitation, abode of the Goddess was performed at Sri Sri Durga Puja Mahotsav of Latouch Road Puja Sansad Society on Wednesday. Women sang bhajans of the mother in Sunbreeze One Apartment of BBD Green City.

– Events were held from morning to evening in Sri Sri Sarvajanin Durga Puja in Bangbharati Puja Park of Bhootnath Metro Station.
– Devotees took darshan from morning to evening in Sri Sri Raj Rajeshwari Durga Puja Mahotsav.
