50 years of National P.G. College

Lucknow: National P.G. College celebrated the completion of 50 years of its establishment with great joy. On this historic occasion, the College Golden Jubilee Celebration was organized.

The Chief Guest of the program was  Rajiv Kumar,  Justice, High Court, Allahabad. As a special guest, former Principal of the institution, Prof. S. P. Singh, who has also been the former Vice Chancellor of Lucknow University and Darbhanga University, was present.

The program was inaugurated  by lighting the lamp by the Chief Guest  Rajiv Kumar,  Justice, High Court, Allahabad, Prof. S. P. Singh, who is the former Vice Chancellor of Lucknow University and Darbhanga University and Principal Prof. Devendra Kumar Singh.

On this occasion,  Sudhir Halwasiya, State Vice President, Bharatiya Janata Party was also present. Presiding over the inauguration of the program, Principal Prof. Devendra Kumar Singh said that we are excited to celebrate the successes we have achieved in the last 50 years and share our plans for the future. We thank you all for joining us on this important occasion.

This ceremony also provides an opportunity to remember the glorious history of the college and all those who have contributed to its success. Prof. D.K. Singh welcomed the dignitaries and highlighted the journey of the college spanning fifty years.

On this occasion, the Chief Guest, Justice Rajiv Singh addressed the students and said that what they learn in an educational institution – where is something said, if there is decency, then every word is heard. Just getting a degree is not enough but its application is the key to success in today’s world. Education does not just give a degree but also provides how to survive and behave in the society.

Taking the example of a mythological story, he inspired the students to transform the society into a liveable place. On this occasion, the dignitaries released the annual magazine of the college ‘Abhivyakti’.

Guest of honour Prof. S.P. Singh said that if one has to reach the skies, then the importance of constantly moving in the right direction with a determined aim and goal has to be emphasized. He shared his rich experience of 48 years long association in the field of education.

On this occasion, the meritorious students of 2024 were felicitated with gold, silver and bronze medals along with cash prizes. 60 topper students of 2024 from various departments were felicitated with medals, certificates and cash prizes.

Best Sportsperson – Prafull Singh of B.Com, Best NCC Cadet Neha Yadav of B.Sc, Best Speaker Mrinal Dixit, Best Rovers Scout Guide Uday Singh of B.A, Best Rangers/Guide Shalini Singh of B.Com, Best NSS Prince Mishra of B.C.A were some of the other students who were felicitated by the Chief Guest. On this occasion, the coordinator of the program, Prof. Ramkrishna Jaiswal expressed his gratitude and the stage was conducted by Dr. Neha Shrivastava. Teachers from all departments of the college were present on this occasion.
