Event promotes the spirit of humanity and awareness about blood donation
Lucknow — On the occasion of Ayyam-e-Fatima (S.A.), a voluntary blood donation camp was organized under the ‘Rakt Amrit Abhiyan’ by the Nobelre Society at Shia P.G. College, Lucknow. The camp, held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., aimed to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and to collect blood for patients in need.
The initiative was conducted in collaboration with Ravi Cancer Seva Kendra and Lucknow Health City Super Specialty Hospital & Blood Centre. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and social workers, who came forward to donate blood as an act of service to humanity.
Active coordination and support were provided by Sahil Kumar (Vice President) and Mehdiya Rizvi, while Maulana Yasoob Abbas extended special cooperation by granting permission and ensuring necessary arrangements for the event.

Founder and President of the organization, Syed Mohammad Abbas Rizvi, stated that under the ‘Rakt Amrit Abhiyan’, similar blood donation drives, free medical camps, and food distribution programs will soon be organized in Prayagraj, Varanasi, Raebareli, Ayodhya, and other cities. “Our goal is to ensure that no person suffers due to lack of blood or medical support,” he said.
The campaign continues to progress under the guidance of Minhaj Sugra (Mumbai), whose vision and dedication to social service have been a source of inspiration for the organization.
