Greater Noida: The Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show 2024, which began on September 25, concluded in a grand manner. The last day witnessed an unprecedented attendance of visitors, with total registrations recorded at over 5 lakh. The trade show was successful in attracting people from not only the state, but also from across the country and the world.

A grand prize distribution ceremony was organized on the concluding day of the event, which was presided over by Rakesh Sachan, Minister of MSME, Khadi, Village Industries, Silk and Textiles, Government of Uttar Pradesh. He felicitated the best exhibitors and winners of various competitions. In his address, he said that this platform is excellent for encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship. We congratulate all the winners and the state government is committed to extend continuous support to your development.

K Vijayendra Pandian, Commissioner and Director, Department of Industries, Government of Uttar Pradesh were also present during the event. Emphasizing the need for cooperation between the government and the business community, he said that the Uttar Pradesh government is working with the business community to make every effort for the economic progress of the state.

During the program, the best exhibitors were honored in various halls, including Amazon Craft (Sambhal), Mughal Overseas (Moradabad), and Arogya (Gautam Buddha Nagar). These awards further highlighted the business potential of Uttar Pradesh.

Students also showcased their talent in various competitions. Jesus and Mary Convent School secured first and second place in the painting competition. Vishwa Bharti Public School, Greater Noida topped the dance competition. Team Champions of Saint-Hood Convent School won the quiz competition.

There was a tremendous display of innovation in the project competition. GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management secured first place in agriculture and rural development, while projects related to cyber security and women’s safety were also appreciated. Galgotias University’s entries related to environment and sustainability also received special recognition. In the junior category, the team from Ramesh Institute of Engineering and Technology won the award for their visionary project on women safety. The cultural evening of the event featured a wonderful performance by renowned singer Palash Sen and his band ‘Iuria’ which mesmerized the audience. The audience and participants celebrated the successful event with great enthusiasm.
