U.P. government to make unemployed youth computer literate

The U.P. government is running ‘O’ Level and CCC Computer Training Scheme to provide advanced computer education to unemployed youth of backward classes. Training will be provided under the scheme by institutions recognized by ‘NILIIT’, an authorized institution of the Government of India.

Institutions interested in providing computer training can apply online from June 8 to June 21. The application process and guidelines are available on the website of the Backward Classes Welfare Department.

 Lucknow: The Backward Classes Welfare of the Uttar Pradesh Government is running ‘O’ Level and CCC Computer Training Scheme online for the financial year 2024-25. The objective of this scheme is to provide advanced computer education to unemployed youths and girls of backward classes.

Director Backward Classes Welfare Department Dr. Vandana Verma said that training will be provided under this scheme by institutions recognized by ‘NILIIT’, an authorized institution of the Government of India. Institutions willing to provide computer training can apply online in the districts from 08 June 2024 to 21 June 2024. The application process and guidelines are available on the Backward Classes Welfare Department website backwardwelfareup.gov.in and obccomputertraining.upsdc.gov.in.

After applying, the institutions have to download a copy of the online application, submit all the required documents along with the signed printout to the Directorate, Backward Classes Welfare, Indira Bhawan, 10th Floor, Ashok Marg, Lucknow or the concerned District Backward Classes Welfare Officer’s office by 5:00 pm on June 21, 2024. The review of applications and physical verification of the infrastructure of the institutions will be done by a committee constituted under the chairmanship of Director, Backward Classes Welfare.
