Two-Day Grand ‘Shri Ram Hanumat Mahotsav’ held in Lucknow with Devotional Fervour

Lucknow | The two-day spiritual celebration “Shri Ram Hanumat Mahotsav”, organized by the Hanumat Seva Samiti, commenced with devotional rituals, bhajans, and spiritual discourses at the Balrampur Garden premises in Lucknow. The grand event witnessed enthusiastic participation from devotees and spiritual seekers.

One of the major highlights of the first day was the presence of the Ramnami community from Chhattisgarh, offering devotees in Lucknow a rare opportunity to receive blessings from the unique spiritual sect for the first time in the city. Followers of the Ramnami tradition, founded by Bhagwan Parshuram, are known for tattooing the word “Ram” across their bodies and wearing shawls inscribed with “Ram” along with peacock-feather crowns.

The event was attended by distinguished guests, including Justice Rajeev Singh, Justice Saurabh Lavania, and Justice Manjeev Shukla.

Bhajans and Spiritual Discourses Enthrall Devotees

The programme, smoothly conducted by Prem Kant Tiwari, began with a traditional Mangalacharan. Renowned bhajan singer Prem Prakash Dubey from Mumbai captivated the audience with a collective recitation of the Hanuman Chalisa in 21 musical variations.

He further mesmerized devotees with soulful renditions of popular devotional hymns such as “Hey Ram Tumhari Kripa Agar Ek Baar Ho Jaaye,” “Mangal Bhavan Amangal Hari,” “Achyutam Keshavam,” and “Shri Ram Chandra Kripalu Bhajman.” His performance created a deeply spiritual atmosphere at the venue.

Spiritual Message by Kapil Shastri

Prominent storyteller and spiritual orator Kapil Shastri from Naimisharanya, Sitapur, delivered a discourse on the theme “Aur Devta Chitt Na Dharai, Hanumat Sei Sarv Sukh Karai.”

In his address, he explained that sincere and selfless devotion to Lord Hanuman frees devotees from suffering and grants courage, good health, spiritual strength, and ultimately liberation. He emphasized that Hanuman devotees receive complete divine protection and blessings through unwavering faith.

Hanumat Kripa Samman Presented

During the ceremony, several individuals were honoured with the “Hanumat Kripa Samman” for their contributions in different fields. Those invited for the felicitation included Suman Rawat, Rajni Singh, Dr. Preeti Rawat, Ram Naresh Sonkar, Gaurav Gupta, Deepak Yadav, Dr. Piyush Shukla, Adarsh Prakash Singh, and Ratnesh Mishra.

The first day concluded with Jyoti Prarthana, Aarti, distribution of Prasad, and a grand Hanumat Bhandara.

Second Day to Feature Sundarkand and Ganga Maha Aarti

According to chief sevadar Vivek Pandey, the second day of the Mahotsav  began with Mangalacharan at 4:30 PM, followed by a collective musical recitation of Sundarkand by internationally acclaimed vocalist Ajay Yajnik from Delhi.

Later in the evening, international bhajan singer Jai Pandey ‘Kokil’ and senior tabla artist Shri Pandey  presented devotional performances. The celebrations  culminated with a grand Ganga Maha Aarti at 10 PM, followed by another divine Hanumat Bhandara.

Community Participation and Support

The large-scale spiritual event has received support from several local businesses and social contributors. Contributions towards Prasad, Bhandara, and Chhappan Bhog have been made by various organizations and businesspersons across Lucknow, reflecting widespread community participation in the religious gathering.

The Mahotsav aimed to promote spiritual awareness, Sanatan values, and collective welfare through devotion and cultural unity.
