Lucknow: “A teacher should try to educate his students with detachment, without any bias, simplicity and sacrifice. Teaching is not a profession but the art of building humanity with sacrifice and austerity.” The above sentiments were expressed by the Principal of National PG College, Prof. Devendra Kumar Singh, in the “Teachers’ Day Celebration” organized in the college.
The chief guest of the ceremony, the manager of the college, Ujjwal Raman Singh said that in today’s changing world, the teacher has a huge responsibility. Under the C.B. Gupta National Shri Samman started last year, applications were received from the professors of various faculties of the college for C.B. Gupta National Shri Samman 2024, in which feedback of the professors was also taken by the students of the college. On the basis of the applications and feedback received from the professors, Dr. Neha Shrivastava was selected for the CB Gupta National Shri Samman 2024 by the evaluation committee.
The chief guest of the Teacher Honor Ceremony program was the college manager Ujjwal Raman Singh, who presented the CB Gupta National Shri Samman 2024 to Dr. Neha Shrivastava, Assistant Professor of Psychology Department. On this occasion, the teacher was given a cheque of Rs. 51,000, a citation and a certificate as a mark of respect. In the end, a cultural program was also presented by the students.
On this occasion, teachers and students from all the faculties and departments of the college were present. The college administration honored all the teachers by giving them gifts and wished them a bright future.
