Lucknow: In a bid to strengthen security and streamline traffic movement, Lucknow Police carried out an intensive checking drive in the busy Charbagh area . The operation was led by outpost in-charge Ravish Bhati, along with his team, focusing on enforcing traffic rules and curbing irregularities.
During the campaign, police conducted thorough inspections of suspicious vehicles and cracked down on rule violators, particularly targeting e-rickshaws and motorcycle riders operating in violation of norms. Several vehicles were fined for lacking proper documentation and for flouting traffic regulations.
Officials said the initiative was aimed not only at enforcing compliance but also at improving overall road discipline. Drivers were issued strict warnings against reckless and unauthorized parking, which often contributes to congestion in the area.

The vicinity around the Charbagh Railway Station and nearby bus stands frequently witnesses heavy traffic, with unregulated e-rickshaw movement leading to persistent jams. Police believe that such targeted drives will help ease congestion and enhance commuter safety.
Authorities also appealed to the public to adhere to traffic norms and promptly report any suspicious activity. The police confirmed that similar enforcement drives will continue in the coming days to ensure better traffic management and public safety.
