Agra: Special Olympics India Uttar Pradesh organized a state level handball and roller skating championship in the name of Air Marshal Denzil Keelor in Agra on 7th and 8th September 2024, in which Lucknow’s male handball team comprising Divyanshu Sharma, Rishi Agarwal, Abhay Singh, Sambhav Singh from Study Hall (Dosti), Shiva Kori (Chetana Sansthan), Nishank Mishra (Rainbow Society) and Rudra Pratap (Asha Awa) won gold medals by securing first place in Group-A.
Lucknow’s female team received gold medals in the lower group in which Aastha Rai and Shruti Khushiram from Study Hall (Dosti) and Shubhangi Sinha and Yashi (Chetana Sansthan) represented Lucknow.
Apart from this, Study Hall (Dosti) maintained its dominance in roller skating as well in which Mrityunjay Kumar secured first and second positions in 50m and 100m race in Group A, whereas Yuvraj Singh secured second and first positions and Dev Tomar secured third positions respectively, bringing laurels to Lucknow.
In Group B, in 50m and 100m race, Shivansh Kumar secured first and third positions, Arsh Mishra secured second and first positions respectively and in female group, Vani Jain from Study Hall (Dosti) secured second and first positions respectively and Reema of Asha Awa secured first position in both the events and in male group B, Pratyush Mishra secured third and first positions and Advit Arora secured third position in 50m race, bringing laurels to Study Hall (Dosti) and Lucknow.
