Lucknow: The Lucknow Golf League 2025 has reached its businessend with the clash of the “Titans”today which was played by the best two teams from group A&B.
In this match defending champions Speed Chargers who have shown ominous form in the league stage were up against the Legends who have had runs of brilliance for a place in the Final on March 2nd.
The loser of this game will however get a second bite of the cherry like the IPL Cricket when they will play the winners of tomorrow’s game between RamswaroopTigerz and Prime Health City.
Legends made a huge comeback after a miserable start when they were down in almost every game. The veterans Captain Ajay Chauhan & Rajesh Narain of for Speed Chargers squandered a 2 up lead with 3 to play to finish all square before team captain Zoheb and Sanjay Sinhaset the ball rolling in the Legends favour with a convincing 3&2 victory.
This was further cemented when their 2nd seeded pair of Siddharth Ahuja &Prabhjot Singh came back from a 6 down deficit against the more fancy pair of Captain SushantMisra & Rakesh Seth of Speed Chargers. Eventually Legends won the match convincingly 4-1 with their last pair of Aditya Pratap Singh & Aadi Jain easily winning their match by 4&3.
While the Legends celebrated going straight into the Sunday finals expect a huge comeback from the Speed Chargers when they take on the winners of tomorrow’s game.
All in all expect a grand stand finish come march the 2nd for all the podium finishers. The event has been supported by the Adani group, VI Business, AJB Fine Jewels, DBS Bank, AP Securitas, MG motor, Pioneer Montessori School.
