Lucknow: School of Management Sciences (SMS), Lucknow organized a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony today with HCL GUVI to strengthen industry-academia collaboration and create enhanced career opportunities for students.
The MoU aims to provide students with industry-oriented training, skill development programs, workshops, internships, industrial exposure, and placement assistance in emerging technologies such as Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, and Business Analytics.Under this collaboration, students will get training on exclusively designed program based on Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence along with access to hands-on learning opportunities, live projects, expert sessions, certification programs , Internship opportunity and practical exposure aligned with current industry requirements. The initiative is expected to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations, thereby making students more employable and industry-ready.
In his statement Sharad Singh, CEO and Secretary, SMS Lucknow highlighted the importance of practical skills and technological expertise in today’s competitive environment. He also mentioned that the partnership with HCL GUVI would significantly contribute towards enhancing students’ technical competencies and improving their placement prospects.

This partnership will provide MBA and B.Tech students with valuable exposure to emerging areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Data Science, and digital technologies, enhancing their industry readiness and career opportunities.
Vinod Srinivasan, General Manager and Head – Institutional Business, HCL GUVI also emphasized the growing demand for digital and emerging technology skills and appreciated the initiative taken by SMS Lucknow in preparing students for future career challenges.
