Noida: In a significant boost to regional cricket, the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA), operating under the aegis of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, has partnered with SJ Uplift to develop and manage the upcoming Jharkhand T20 League.
The seven-year agreement will see the inaugural edition of the league feature six franchises, marking a major step towards strengthening the cricketing ecosystem in the region.
Strategic Partnership for League Development
Under the agreement, SJ Uplift will oversee the league’s end-to-end operations, including its business strategy, execution, and long-term growth. The firm will be responsible for building the franchise model, securing sponsorships and media rights, and establishing the league as a competitive and commercially viable brand.
In addition, SJ Uplift will manage player auctions, contracts, and ensure transparency and professionalism in the conduct of matches across seasons.
Vision for a Professional T20 Platform
JSCA President Ajay Nath Shahdeo expressed confidence in the collaboration, stating that the association aims to create a well-structured and professionally managed T20 competition in Jharkhand. He noted that SJ Uplift’s experience in handling franchise-based leagues aligns with JSCA’s long-term vision for the sport.
