Lucknow: As the festive season approaches, thieves in Lucknow’s Bazar Khala area have become increasingly active. In a daring theft, Rs 3 lakh was stolen from a local business, raising concerns about the effectiveness of night patrolling by the Bazar Khala police.

The theft occurred in Bhusha Mandi under the jurisdiction of Gulzar Nagar police post. Businessman Ayush Agarwal, whose shop was targeted, reported that Rs 3 lakh was stolen from his cash box during the early hours of October 2nd. The thieves managed to lift the shop’s shutter, break open the lock on the cash box using an iron shovel, and flee with the money. The entire incident, captured on a CCTV camera, shows the audacity of the thieves, who carried out the theft around 3 a.m., presenting a direct challenge to the local police.

The theft has drawn attention to the effectiveness of night patrolling in the Bazar Khala police station area.
