Bareilly: Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Anil Kumar Rai conducted a surprise inspection of various university hostels on Wednesday, reviewing ongoing construction projects and assessing facilities available to students.
During the inspection, Prof. Rai examined the progress of construction work and reviewed the overall arrangements at the hostels. He inspected mess and food services and interacted with students about cleanliness, maintenance and other concerns.

The Vice-Chancellor also physically inspected students’ rooms, water supply facilities, bathrooms, toilets and recreational amenities. He issued necessary directions to improve hostel facilities and ensure better living conditions for students.
Several students shared suggestions regarding hostel improvements. Prof. Rai listened to their concerns and assured them that their suggestions would be addressed at the earliest.

Addressing the students, he said hostels are not merely places to live but laboratories for personality development and learning discipline. He urged students to treat the campus like their home and contribute to its cleanliness and upkeep.
Chief Warden Prof. A. Singh, Prof. Sanjay Mishra, Dr Saurav Mishra, Dr Atul Katiyar, Dr Ajit and wardens of all hostels were present during the inspection.
