Mumbai: After the massive success of the ‘Dhurandhar’ franchise, all eyes are now on Ranveer Singh’s next big project, ‘Pralay’—and the latest update comes as a major relief for fans. While some reports suggested “creative differences” between director Jai Mehta and Ranveer Singh, sources close to the production have firmly dismissed these claims as baseless.
The film is progressing smoothly and is scheduled to go on floors in August 2026. Mounted on a massive budget of around ₹300 crore, ‘Pralay’ is expected to be a game-changer for Hindi cinema. Set in a post-apocalyptic, dystopian world, the zombie thriller promises to deliver a cinematic experience unlike anything seen before.
Produced by Hansal Mehta’s True Story Films, Ranveer Singh’s Maa Kasam Films, and Applause Entertainment, ‘Pralay’ is shaping up to be more than just a film. With high-end VFX, grand scale, and Ranveer in an all-new avatar, it aims to redefine the zombie genre in Indian cinema.
