Lucknow: The Punjab Chamber of Commerce and Industries has appointed RK Sharan as Executive Director for multiple states, including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Assam, Gujarat, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra. The announcement was made in Lucknow and has been welcomed by members of the industrial and business community.
RK Sharan is also serving as National Advisor at the Indian Investor Federation and Krishi UdyamiKrishak Vikas Chamber, where he has been actively involved in initiatives related to economic growth and industrial development. He brings extensive experience in infrastructure development, power sector coordination, industrial relations, investment promotion and policy advocacy.
Industry representatives described his appointment as a development-oriented move that is expected to strengthen trade and investment activities across the assigned regions. Business leaders expressed confidence that his expertise and administrative experience would help create stronger coordination between industries and government agencies while encouraging economic opportunities and industrial expansion in different parts of the country.
