Prayagraj: To make the Maha Kumbh to be held next year in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh grand, the government will soon build a digital Kumbh Museum. State Tourism Minister Thakur Jaiveer Singh said that the Tourism Department is preparing to build a ‘Digital Kumbh Museum’ in Prayagraj in accordance with the idea of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Here devotees will be able to see the Samudra Manthan through digital means. Apart from this, information will also be given about Kumbh, Mahakumbh and other religious-spiritual places.
A gallery of 14 gems of Samudra Manthan will be built in the museum
The state Tourism Minister said that Rs 21.38 crore has been approved for the Digital Kumbh Museum, out of which an amount of Rs 6 crore has been released. 2000 to 2500 people will be able to visit this museum to be built in an area of about 10 thousand square meters at a time. Jaiveer Singh said that under the project, a gallery of 14 gems of Samudra Manthan will be built in the digital museum. Detailed information about Samudra Manthan will be given through digital medium.
Landscaping will be developed
Details will be given about Prayagraj Mahakumbh-Kumbh, Haridwar, Nashik, Ujjain Kumbh etc. through digital screens and other mediums. Apart from this, landscaping will be developed. Ticket counters will also be built. The Tourism Minister said that if devotees want to visit Chitrakoot, the place where Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram stayed during his exile, then ‘Chitrakoot Tourism App’ has been prepared for this. Comprehensive information including the name, importance, time of darshan of the places to be seen will be available on this mobile application.
He said that by clicking on ‘Festival and Event’ in the application, detailed information about Mahakumbh, Chitrakoot Mahotsav, Ramnavami, National Ramayana Fair etc. will be available. Also, information has been given about the dates, importance etc. of special bathing in Mahakumbh.
