PM blows holes in Opposition double standards

New Delhi: While responding to the discussion on the motion of thanks on the President’s address in the Rajya Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Modi) lashed out at the opposition. During this, PM Modi fiercely attacked the allegations of misuse of investigation agencies by Delhi’s Aam Aadmi Party and Congress. PM Modi said that the people of Congress have shamelessly started running a ‘Corrupt Bachao Andolan’. They are enjoying getting photographed with people found guilty of corruption. Earlier they were asking us why action is not taken against the corrupt and now when the corrupt are going to jail, they are creating a ruckus.

PM Modi lashed out at AAP-Congress

During the discussion in Parliament, PM Modi raised questions on the investigation agencies of the Center that the government is misusing the investigation agencies. AAP does corruption, AAP does scams in building classrooms for children, AAP does liquor scam, AAP does water scam… Congress complains against AAP… Congress drags it to the court, but when action is taken, they abuse Modi.’

The PM further said that now these people have become partners. Congress should now tell whether the evidence of AAP’s scams that were presented to the country through the press conference were false. These are the people who have double standards. I want to remind the country again and again what kind of double standards are going on. These people sit on the stage in Delhi and accuse the investigation agencies, hold rallies to save the corrupt.

At the same time, targeting Rahul Gandhi, he said that in Kerala, their own princes appeal to send the Chief Minister of their own alliance party to jail. In Delhi, they make noise on the action of ED and CBI. Their princes talk about sending the CM of Kerala to jail through this investigation agency. There is double standard in this too. The liquor scam in Chhattisgarh was linked to the Chief Minister of the Congress government, while the people of AAP party demanded from ED to send him to jail.

Former SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav was also mentioned

PM Modi said that at that time he liked ED a lot. Today, those who are defaming the investigation agencies, I request them to strain their memory. PM Modi said that I want to tell how the agencies were misused earlier.

While reading Mulayam Singh Yadav’s statement, PM Modi said that Ram Gopal ji, did Netaji ever lie? Please also tell your nephew who put the noose of CBI around his neck as soon as he entered politics. The PM also reminded of the comment of the Supreme Court in which the Supreme Court called the CBI a caged parrot.
