National P.G. College Hosts “Elevate the Career Fair 2025”

Lucknow: National P.G. College, Lucknow, successfully hosted the much anticipated ‘Elevate’ the Career Fair 2025 today. The event brought together top-tier companies from various sectors, providing students with valuable opportunities to embark on their professional journeys.
The career fair commenced with an inaugural ceremony where HR representatives from leading companies, including Axis Bank, Adda 24*7, Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail, Startek, and more, were honored by the Principal of National P.G. College. In his address, Prof.D.K. Singh not only expressed his gratitude to the participating companies and shared words of wisdom with the students but also emphasized that success in the professional world extends beyond academic achievements, highlighting the importance of confidence and knowledge in facing real-world challenges.
Dr. Shalini Lamba, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Placement Coordinator encouraged students to pursue their careers with passion and dedication. She stressed the importance of consistent effort and applying knowledge to create a positive impact. Similarly,  Abhinav Dwivedi, the Training and Placement Officer, guided students on placement procedures and the current job market landscape, stressing skill development, networking, and adaptability.
The Placement Cell at National P.G. College plays a pivotal role in connecting academic learning with professional experiences. The cell, comprising a 19-member student-driven team, ensures comprehensive guidance and support throughout the placement process. The success of this year’s event is attributed to meticulous planning and strong industry connections, offering students unparalleled opportunities to interact with recruiters and secure promising careers.
This year’s fair witnessed the participation of more than 700 students from various cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Ghaziabad, Noida, and Meerut. Over 30+ reputed companies and more than 40 recruiters offered diverse roles, allowing students to present their skills and secure employment opportunities. Colleges from across Lucknow like IGNOU, IMRT, Amity, Study Hall, Sherwood, Lucknow Public College and University of Lucknow also participated. The efforts of the Placement Cell, led by  Abhinav Dwivedi, ensured the smooth conduct of the event, which concluded with many students receiving job offers.
