Lucknow/Pilibhit: – In the ‘VLE Samvad’ program organized in Pilibhit, Minister of State, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, Jitin Prasada met with about a hundred CSC VLEs and reviewed the schemes being run by the government. The program was inaugurated with the lighting of lamps, in which Group President Bhagwan Patil and State Head CSC Rajesh Mishra welcomed the Minister of State with bouquet and Ang Vastram.
State Head CSC, Rajesh Mishra, in his welcome address, said that more than 1 lakh 62 thousand CSC centers are serving the public in Uttar Pradesh, while more than two thousand CSC VLEs in Pilibhit district are actively assisting in the registration of eligible citizens in various public welfare schemes. These centers are playing an important role in PM Schemes registration, DBT payment, banking and Aadhaar services.
Group President Bhagwan Patil assured that CSC Central and State Offices will play an immediate role in reaching the CSC scheme to the local citizens.
In his address, Minister of State Jitin Prasada, referring to the beginning of the third term of the Modi government, said that this is his first program being held in his karmabhoomi Pilibhit. He emphasized on making the CSC program under the Ministry of IT and Electronics more effective, giving new employment opportunities to the youth and making the services of CSC centers available to the public without any hassle. He said that branding of Common Service Centers will be done so that local citizens can know about them. Along with this, increasing the income of VLE and giving the benefit of more services to the local people was also discussed.
During the program, the Minister of State also issued BC letter to the new Bank BC VLE. Indra Shukla, Ajay Choubey, Manmohan Yadav, Pankaj and Santosh etc. of District Information Science Officer and CSC State Headquarters were present in this program.
