University to showcase artificial intelligence initiatives, innovations and achievements at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University
Bareilly: Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University Vice-Chancellor Professor (Dr) Anil Kumar Rai travelled by bus with a university delegation to Kanpur on Friday to participate in ‘AI Manthan 2.0’. The initiative highlighted the importance of environmental conservation, fuel savings, responsible use of resources and collective responsibility.
The university will present its work, activities and achievements in the field of Artificial Intelligence at the event, which is being hosted by Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur. A special exhibition showcasing the institution’s AI-related initiatives and innovations will also be organised.
AI Initiatives to Take Centre Stage
At AI Manthan 2.0, Rohilkhand University will showcase the practical and potential applications of artificial intelligence in education, research, administration, student skill development and teaching-learning processes. The exhibition will highlight the university’s ongoing activities, innovations and achievements, along with its future plans for AI adoption.
The university aims to ensure that AI is not limited to technological demonstrations but is integrated into academic and administrative practices while preparing teachers and students for emerging technological challenges.
Professor Anil Kumar Rai said artificial intelligence is an important technology that will shape the future direction of higher education. The university’s effort is to connect AI with education, research, administration and student skill development.
Governor to Review AI Progress of Universities
The two-day AI Manthan 2.0 programme will be held on September 12 and 13. Uttar Pradesh Governor and Chancellor of state universities Anandiben Patel will review AI-related activities and achievements with vice-chancellors of various universities across the state.
The review is expected to provide an opportunity for universities to share their progress, discuss the use of AI in higher education and exchange ideas on innovation and future strategies.
Bus Journey Sends Message of Resource Conservation
The Vice-Chancellor’s decision to travel by bus with the delegation was viewed as a symbolic step towards promoting collective travel, fuel conservation and environmental responsibility. The initiative also conveyed the importance of using resources wisely.
The university community said the collective journey could inspire teachers, officers and employees to adopt more sustainable practices.
