Lucknow: City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I organized its Divine Education Conference at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. CMS Founder-Director, Dr Bharti Gandhi inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp of learning. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Dr Bharti Gandhi said that meaningful education can bring a positive change in society. It is high time now that we utilize education as a powerful tool to transform society. Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon called upon the students and teachers to develop global thinking and universal values along with academic advancement. She said that the need of the hour was to produce world citizens empowered with character building qualities. Prof. Kingdon also highlighted the Broader and Bolder System of Education practised at CMS. All Religion and World Unity Prayer, Choreography, Qawwali etc. Not just the students but their mothers also participated enthusiastically in the song and dance programmes keeping the audience enthralled. Parental participation brings the school and home closer for the benefit of the child. On this occasion, the meritorious students of school, who had won prizes in various competitive examinations, cultural programmes, sports competitions and secured top positions in the Annual Examinations were honoured and awarded. Senior Principal of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I, Jayashree Krishnan said on this occasion that good education makes a good society. A well cultured and peaceful atmosphere at home and school can develop children into balanced persons leading them on to the right direction for a successful future.
