Mayor Distributes Appointment Letters to Dependents of Deceased Employees

Lucknow: A poignant yet celebratory event took place today at Rajkumar Hall, Lucknow Municipal Corporation headquarters, where  Mayor  Sushma Kharkwal extended her support to families of deceased employees and bid an honorable farewell to retiring staff members. The event, marked by heartfelt emotions and camaraderie, witnessed the distribution of appointment letters to dependents of five deceased employees and a grand farewell to 17 retiring employees.

The Mayor was accompanied by Deputy Chairman  Girish Gupta,  Councilor Mukesh Kumar Monty, Municipal Commissioner Inderjit Singh, Additional Municipal Commissioners  Pankaj Srivastava and  Lalit Kumar, and several other dignitaries.

Appointment of Dependents of Deceased Employees

Acknowledging the loss of employees who served the Municipal Corporation, the administration approved appointments for their dependents to help support their livelihoods. Mayor distributed appointment letters to:

  1.  Umar Zubair, son of late Mohd. Zubair Haroon
  2.  Ravi Sagar, son of late Dayaram
  3.  Gulshan Jahan, wife of late Mohd. Shafiq
  4.  Anjali, wife of late Ginni Lal
  5. Kaushal Kashyap, son of late Devi Prasad

The Mayor extended condolences to the bereaved families and assured them of continued support. Expressing gratitude, the newly appointed employees shared their joy and relief upon receiving this assistance.

Farewell to Retiring Employees

In a grand farewell ceremony, 17 retiring employees were honored for their years of dedicated service. They held diverse roles across various departments of the Lucknow Municipal Corporation. The retirees include:

Municipal Commissioner  Inderajit Singh congratulated the retirees, commending their dedication and honesty in service. Additional Municipal Commissioner  Pankaj Srivastava concluded the program with warm words of encouragement for both the new appointees and retirees.

The event was graced by senior officers and representatives of employee organizations, including  Naresh Valmiki,  Anand Verma, and others.
