Rae Bareli: A team of Lucknow Police visited Rae Bareli on Monday while searching for Shraddha Dubey, a key accused in the case involving the suspicious death of Shiva Sharma in Lucknow. The team questioned Dubey’s father, S.P. Dubey, and her stepmother at their residence in the Ramji Puram locality for around one and a half hours.
According to local reports, the questioning was conducted inside a closed room as investigators sought information about Dubey’s whereabouts and possible contact with her family. Police were reportedly examining the possibility that she had been in Rae Bareli or nearby areas in recent days.

The visit drew the attention of local residents, many of whom gathered outside the house as the police conducted their inquiry. Residents said Dubey had received her early education in the locality.
The questioning was part of a wider search operation, with Lucknow Police reportedly deploying multiple teams to trace Dubey and other accused in the case. Investigators were attempting to establish whether her parents had been in contact with her and whether they could provide information about her possible locations or recent movements.

However, the police have not officially disclosed the questions asked during the inquiry or whether any significant information was obtained. The team left the residence after approximately 90 minutes without speaking to the media.
Local police officials also said they had no information about the visit. As of Tuesday, there was no official confirmation regarding the outcome of the questioning or any fresh development in the search for Dubey.
