Lucknow: Lucknow Metro organised grand Pre-Holi celebrations ‘Awadh Mein Holi’ at Hazratganj Metro Station with Awadhi Folk music and engaging Dialogue session on Awadhi Holi and its many charms.
The evening began with a soulful Folk musical by Mansi Raghuvanshi and team, with the entire station reverberating on the beats of classic Awadhi music.
The musical was followed by an engrossing dialogue session on Awadhi Holi, its ever charming tradition and how it has evolved over the course of time by HoD/Hindi Department,Christian College- Dr. Rishi Kumar Mishra, Principal Scientist, Indian Council of Agricultural Research – Dr. P.C. Sarkar and Academician-Poet Dr. Sudha Mishra.
A one of a kind event, the ‘Awadh mein Holi’ celebration concluded with gulaal and gujiyas by all the attendees, setting the mood for Holi festivities.
Lucknow Metro train services will be available from 2:30p.m. to 10:00 p.m. from both terminals i.e. Munshipulia and CCS Airport on 25th March 2024.
