Vindhynagar: On May day 2024, in commemoration of Labour Day, NTPC Vindhyachal organized a special event to honor and celebrate the contributions of its workforce. The occasion witnessed the installation of Stage 4 Labour Rest Houses, along with water coolers and desert coolers, aimed at enhancing the comfort of the workers.
E Satya Phani Kumar, ED (NTPC Vindhyachal) emphasized the importance of ensuring the well-being of the workers, particularly in combating the scorching heat of summer. He highlighted the company’s commitment to creating a conducive environment for all employees, acknowledging their dedication and hard work.
The event also focused on safety measures, with officials stressing the importance of adhering to safety protocols to prevent workplace accidents and ensure a secure working environment. Workers were briefed on safety rules and regulations, underscoring NTPC’s dedication to prioritizing employee welfare.
Speaking at the event, E Satya Phani Kumar shed light on the significance of Labour Day, emphasizing the rights of workers and extending warm wishes on this auspicious occasion. He expressed gratitude to the workers for their invaluable contributions to the organization’s success and encouraged them to continue their diligent efforts.
As a gesture of appreciation, sweets were distributed among the workers, symbolizing the spirit of camaraderie and gratitude within the NTPC Vindhyachal family. Additionally, caps were presented to the workers, symbolizing unity and solidarity among the workforce.
