Lucknow: Lucknow’s Krishnanagar police have successfully busted a notorious gang of tricksters involved in multiple incidents of deception and theft.
Following two sensational incidents of trickery in the Krishnanagar police station area, DCP South Nipun Agarwal directed a strategic operation that led to the gang’s arrest.
In a joint operation conducted by DCP South’s Crime and Surveillance Team along with the Krishnanagar police team, two men and three women from the gang were apprehended.
The gang was found responsible for the shocking trickery incidents that took place on February 15 and February 17 in the Krishnanagar area.
Police recovered a gold chain, a cutter, an e-rickshaw, and ₹15,990 in cash from the accused.
