The show’s latest storyline has sparked curiosity and laughter alike with the arrival of Sattu, portrayed by actor Krishna Bharadwaj, whose unusual behavior leaves everyone wondering whether they are witnessing a medical condition or something beyond explanation.
In the current track, Sattu’s family believes he is channeling the spirit of his late wife, Babli, leading to a series of amusing and intriguing situations within the hospital. To bring the character to life, Krishna Bharadwaj underwent a complete transformation, stepping into Babli’s persona with a traditional Banarasi saree, elaborate jewelry, a wig, and detailed makeup. While the look was essential to the storyline, it also presented the actor with a unique and memorable challenge.
Reflecting on the experience, Krishna shared that the transformation was both demanding and enjoyable.
“This role was unlike anything I’ve done before because I had to completely transform into a woman. Wearing a saree, heavy jewelry, a wig, earrings, and makeup for long hours was definitely challenging. After some time, I could really feel the weight of everything, especially the wig and clips. It gave me a deeper appreciation for the effort female actors put in every day on set,” he said.
The actor added that despite the physical demands, the process was immensely rewarding.
“At the same time, the fun of transforming into a different character made it all worthwhile. The lighter tone of the storyline allowed me to enjoy the experience, and switching between personalities became easier after rehearsals. It was refreshing, exciting, and something I genuinely enjoyed exploring as an actor,” Krishna explained.
With its winning mix of humor, emotions, and relatable storytelling, Yaadein continues to offer audiences entertaining narratives that celebrate everyday life.
