Lucknow: Aarna Kumari and Aaliya Siddiqui, students of City Montessori School , Rajajipuram Campus I, have brought pride to their school by winning gold medal each at the ‘Inter-School Taekwondo Championship 2024’.
This championship was organized by Sunrise Taekwondo Academy in collaboration with Lucknow District Taekwondo Association at the Mini Indoor Stadium, Rajajipuram, Lucknow. Several students from prestigious schools participated in this championship, showcasing their sports talents. Aarna and Aaliya put up their best performance and secured a gold medal each.
Aarna Kumari won the gold medal in the 37 kg weight category and Aaliya Siddiqui in the 48 kg weight category, demonstrating their remarkable sporting skills. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, congratulated these promising students on their bright future and said that by winning two gold medals in this Taekwondo Championship amidst tough competition, these CMS students have already sent a message of establishing a unique identity at the national and international levels.
CMS students are excelling not only in academics but also in sports and various other fields, making the school proud on national and international platforms.
