Kanpur’s Dr. Amit Kumar Niranjan Breaks His Own World Records, Sets New Milestone

Kanpur: Dr. Amit Kumar Niranjan, a distinguished figure in the field of education in India, has once again etched his name in history by breaking his own world records. His achievements have been recognized by several prestigious platforms, including the World Wide Book of Records and the India Book of Records. Dr. Amit stands as India’s only individual to have completed post-graduate degrees in 8 different subjects and has qualified the highly esteemed UGC NET (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test) in 8 distinct fields, a rare feat in itself.

Dr. Amit first qualified the UGC NET with a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Commerce in June 2010. He followed this by passing the UGC NET in Economics in December 2010, Management in June 2012, and Education in December 2015. His remarkable journey continued with Sociology in December 2019, Political Science in December 2020, Adult Education in December 2021, and finally his 8th UGC NET in Tourism & Management in June 2024.

Dr. Amit has achieved numerous records, including qualifying UGC NET in the fields of Commerce, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Management, Education, Adult Education, and Tourism & Management. His extraordinary achievements have earned him accolades such as the ‘UP Gaurav Samman’ and other prestigious awards. In 2023, he was also nominated for the Padma Shri award, one of India’s highest civilian honors.
