Jammu to Panaji: Maha Kumbh 2025 Roadshows Begin

Prayagraj: The Yogi government is sparing no effort to make the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh 2025 a global symbol of Indian culture and unity. In a series of nationwide roadshows, the administration is promoting the cultural, spiritual, and environmental significance of this grand event. Recently, major roadshows were organized in Jammu, Dehradun, Patna, and Panaji, led by key ministers of the Uttar Pradesh government.

Jammu Roadshow

Science and Technology Minister Anil Kumar and Minister of State for Minority Welfare Danish Azad Ansari spearheaded the roadshow in Jammu. They extended personal invitations to J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Kumar Sinha, former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, and the public, emphasizing Maha Kumbh as a celebration of Indian diversity and spiritual consciousness. They highlighted the government’s comprehensive preparations to ensure the event’s grandeur and its role as a unifying cultural spectacle.

Dehradun Roadshow

In Dehradun, Women Welfare Minister Baby Rani Maurya and Minister of State for Public Works Brajesh Singh led the roadshow, inviting Uttarakhand Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The ministers underscored the government’s eco-friendly measures, including plans for a single-use plastic-free event, and reiterated the Maha Kumbh’s symbolic role in showcasing Indian unity and diversity.

Patna Roadshow

In Patna, MSME Minister Rakesh Sachan and Minister of State for Transport Dayashankar Singh emphasized the global success of the 2019 Maha Kumbh and shared the vision for 2025. Highlighting expectations of over 45 crore pilgrims, sadhus, and tourists, they assured timely preparations for an event that surpasses all previous editions.

Panaji Roadshow

Prison Minister Dara Singh Chauhan and Minister of State for Jal Shakti Ramkesh Nishad led the roadshow in Panaji. They outlined technological innovations for the Maha Kumbh, including smart parking systems, CCTV surveillance, and a digital lost and found center. They also provided details on the 44 newly constructed ghats and the development of the Ganges riverfront, ensuring a clean, green, and digitally advanced pilgrimage experience.

A Unified National Appeal

Through these roadshows, the Yogi government is not only showcasing the grandeur of Maha Kumbh 2025 but also fostering nationwide participation. Each event drew substantial attendance from dignitaries, administrative officials, and the public, reflecting the widespread enthusiasm for this historic festival.
