Prayagraj: Before the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Principal Secretary Urban Development Amrit Abhijat reached Prayagraj and held a high-level meeting.
After knowing the progress of all the cleanliness and development works of Municipal Corporation, Jal Nigam and CNDS regarding Maha Kumbh, a detailed discussion was held on the future action plan. During this, he instructed the officials to complete all the necessary construction work by December 20.
Regarding the cleanliness system, public awareness campaign and construction works of the corporation regarding Maha Kumbh, he reviewed it.
Municipal Corporation Commissioner Chandra Mohan Garg gave detailed information about the preparations of the corporation, cleanliness arrangements and technical progress being made in the city for the fair. Along with this, he also informed about the action plan of the works to be done by the corporation till Kumbh.
In the review meeting, the Principal Secretary also took details of the work related to Maha Kumbh from the Jal Nigam and CNDS officials and instructed to expedite the remaining works.
Along with Maha Kumbh, PM Modi will also give a new direction to the development of Prayagraj
In the meeting, the Principal Secretary (Amrit Abhijat) also gave the green signal to ensure excellent level of cleanliness in Prayagraj and a week-long special cleanliness campaign from December 25.
In this meeting held in the Municipal Corporation Conference Hall, Jal Nigam JMD Amit Singh, SBM Mission Director, Manoj Jha and Municipal Corporation Additional Commissioner Deependra Yadav, Chief Engineer, Satish Kumar along with other officials and teams of the Municipal Corporation were present.
