Ayodhya: Leaving behind the history of 500 years, Ayodhya Dham is now moving back towards the glory of Treta Yuga. Ramlala has been seated in his grand temple and the grand celebrations of Holi and Shri Ram Janmotsav brought immense joy to crores of devotees across the country and the world.
Such a moment of joy is soon going to be available to the devotees between 28 and 31 October through the grand Deepotsav program. Although, since the year 2017, the Saryu Ghat of Ayodhya has been lit up with a record number of lamps on Diwali and an action plan has been set in CM Yogi’s vision for organizing the 8th Deepotsav program in the year 2024, but this time Deepotsav is going to be special in many ways.
It will also be special because this year it will be organized for the first time after the installation of Ramlala’s Shrivigraha. In such a situation, the Yogi government does not want to leave any stone unturned to organize it at the grandest level. This year, not only will Ram Ki Paidi, Naya Ghat and other ghats of Ayodhya be decorated with more than 25 lakh diyas, but the lighting decoration in the 4-day long Deepotsav program will be so attractive that it will give Ayodhya Dham the real supernatural aura of Saket Dham.
Modern lighting decoration will become a medium of attraction
According to CM Yogi’s vision, during the Deepotsav program, Ayodhya will be equipped with various types of modern lighting including intelligent dynamic color changing LED decorative panels and multi-media projections. Apart from the venue, various places in Ayodhya will also be equipped with these. Welcome gates will be built at Ram Ki Paidi including Naya Ghat, which will be equipped with thematic lighted arc pillars. Various main paths including Bhakti Path of Ayodhya city will be decorated with attractive lighting and floral decoration, along with this, Gonda Bridge on the route from Ayodhya to Gonda and Basti Bridge on the route from Ayodhya to Basti will be decorated with attractive lighting decoration.
The entire Ayodhya Dham will be lit up with various types of lighting and all the major temples will have special artistic decoration in which lighting decoration will be the main thing. More than 500 major places of Ayodhya will be decorated with attractive signage boards. Apart from this, 20 artistic installations will also be installed in various areas of Ayodhya in view of the Deepotsav program.
Various types of events will be held every day, Cracker Show will be the pride of the main program
Various types of cultural programs will be organized every day in the grand Deepotsav program to be held in Ayodhya between 28 and 31 October. During this time, these programs will be organized in different shifts every day and the duration of the main program will be 45 minutes. During this time, more than 100 artists will give their performances at Ram Ki Paadi and other program venues.
In these, the main will be the staging of various incidents related to the life of Lord Shri Ram. Along with this, the main event will be graced by a grand laser show, multi-media projections and artistically choreographed firecracker show which will not harm the environment in any way and will fill the sky of Ayodhya with various types of lights. The choreographed green aerial firecracker show will be conducted for a period of more than 10 minutes.
Inspiration has also been taken from abroad, various types of tableaus will be operated along with ‘Ram Rath’
A grand procession will also be organized in the Deepotsav program in which 7 large mechanized tableaus including Ram Rath will also be showcased. All these tableaus will be related to various incidents of Lord Shri Ram and their construction will be inspired from Oruro (Bolivia), Basel (Switzerland), Salvador (Brazil), Baranquilla (Colombia), Dusseldorf (Germany) Grenadines.
It is believed that during the Deepotsav program, the process of providing darshan through virtual reality platform of all the major areas including Ayodhya will also start. The pilgrimage sites for which the process of connecting through virtual reality has been started include Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, Hanuman Garhi Temple, Nageshwar Nath Temple, Ram Ki Paadi, Chhoti Devkali Temple, Badi Devkali Temple, Kanak Bhawan Temple and Dashrath Mahal Temple.
Apart from this, work has started on connecting Rang Mahal Temple, Surya Kund, Bharat Kund, Guptar Ghat, Ram Heritage Walk (from Saket Petrol Pump to Lata Mangeshkar Chowk), Ram Gulela Temple, Shringi Rishi Ka Ashram, Makhoda Dham, Siya Ram Fort, Jain Temple, Chapiya Narayan Temple and Aamava Temple through virtual reality process.
