Gonda | In a step towards strengthening infrastructure and improving connectivity, District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan chaired a meeting with elected representatives and officials to prepare a comprehensive roadmap for construction and upgradation of roads and bridges across Gonda.
Proposals Invited Across Constituencies
During the meeting held at the Collectorate auditorium, proposals were invited from MPs, MLAs, and other public represenatives for road and bridge projects constituency-wise—both Assembly and Parliamentary segments. Representatives highlighted key infrastructure gaps in their respective areas and suggested new road construction, bridge projects, and strengthening of dilapidated routes.
Focus on Connectivity and Traffic Improvement
Participants emphasized the need to improve traffic management and ensure smoother connectivity between rural and urban regions. Detailed discussions were held with departmental officials on feasibility, prioritisation, and budget requirements for the proposed projects.

District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan directed officials to thoroughly examine all proposals and prepare a priority-based action plan. She подчеркнула that robust road and bridge infrastructure is crucial for overall district development, enabling faster movement of people and goods.
She also instructed departments to maintain high-quality standards and ensure timely completion of projects.

Representatives Share Local Needs
Among those present were MLA Tarabganj Prem Narayan Pandey, MLC Awadhesh Kumar Singh, and representatives of MPs from Gonda and Kaiserganj constituencies, along with senior officials from the Public Works Department and other concerned departments.
Aim: Stronger Infrastructure Network
The meeting aimed to create a well-planned and strong network of roads and bridges across the district, incorporating ground-level inputs from public represenatives to accelerate development and improve public convenience.
Officials said the final action plan will be prepared after detailed review of all proposals, paving the way for enhanced connectivity and regional growth.
