Lucknow: Reacting to the Union Budget 2024-25 presented in the Lok Sabha, Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel said that the General Budget is very important in terms of Amrit Kaal as it is going to provide social, economic and educational justice to 140 crore people of the country.
The Governor said that the budget has something for everyone including farmers, poor, youth and women. She said that by paying special attention to agriculture and social sector in the budget and emphasising on the development of rural economy and skill development of youth, maximum employment opportunities will be available.
The Governor said that nine priorities have been set in the budget, which includes giving priority to productivity, employment and capacity development in farming, overall human resource development, social justice, manufacturing and services, urban development, energy security, innovation, research and development and many factors for next generation reform. She said that by extending PM Garib Kalyan Yojana for 5 years, more than 80 crore people will be benefited.
