Mumbai: Sony SAB’s Hastinapur Ke Veer brings alive the untold childhood years of the Pandavas and Kauravas, celebrating the friendships, values and experiences that shaped their journeys. While the young characters often find themselves on opposing sides in the story, the bond shared by the young actors off-screen is filled with laughter, teamwork and genuine friendship.
On Friendship Day, the young cast took a brief break from their busy shooting schedules to celebrate their special bond. The actors exchanged friendship bands and chocolates and spent time laughing and enjoying each other’s company. Spending long hours together on set has helped the young performers build friendships that extend beyond the camera, making their shooting days even more memorable.
Urva Savaliya, who plays Arjun, said that one of her favourite aspects of shooting is getting to spend time with her friends every day. She shared that the young cast rehearses together, plays games between shots and helps each other remember dialogues. She added that Friendship Day reminded her how fortunate she is to have found so many friends on the same set. As part of the celebrations, the cast tied friendship bands on one another and exchanged chocolates.
Athar Khan, who portrays Yudhishthir, described the cast as a big family. While the actors portray different characters on screen, they enjoy themselves together as soon as the cameras stop rolling. From laughing and playing games to encouraging one another, the cast has created a warm and supportive environment. Khan said celebrating Friendship Day with his co-stars felt like a blessing.
Harit Gabani, who plays Nakul, said he enjoys spending time with everyone on set because there is always something fun happening. Whether they are playing games, chatting or simply sitting together between scenes, he said there is never a dull moment. For him, the best part of Friendship Day is celebrating the friends who make each day happier.
Shaurya Upadhyay, who plays Dushasan, said one of the best parts of shooting is being able to spend the entire day with his friends. During breaks, the young actors play games, joke around and have fun together. Although they portray rivals on screen, Upadhyay said they share a close bond away from the cameras. He described Friendship Day as a special reminder of the wonderful friendships he has found on the set.
The celebrations highlight how the young cast of Hastinapur Ke Veer has developed a strong camaraderie behind the scenes, even as their characters navigate rivalry and conflict within the show.
Hastinapur Ke Veer airs Monday to Saturday at 9 pm, exclusively on Sony SAB.
