Mumbai: Kavish Khunger, who plays Amber, the youngest of five siblings, in Yash and Mamta Patnaik’s Inspire Films’ *Kyunki Papa Kehte Hain* on Sony SAB, is having a wonderful time shooting for the show. While audiences get to see the fun and mischief of the Parik family on screen, Kavish says there is just as much masti happening behind the scenes. For the young actor, the experience has been less like going to work and more like spending time with a big family.
Talking about his experience so far, Kavish says, “Working on *Kyunki Papa Kehte Hain* has been an absolute blast! Every day on set feels like hanging out with a massive, fun-loving family rather than actual work. My favourite and most memorable part of the journey so far has been all the crazy fun we have during our breaks, especially getting to play games with everyone behind the scenes.”
The young actor also has lovely things to say about producers Yash and Mamta Patnaik. He appreciates how they make the child actors feel comfortable on set while ensuring that their shooting schedules are balanced with their studies.
“It has been super cool working with Yash Ji and Mamta Ji! They are so nice to all of us child actors and make sure we are comfortable while balancing school and shooting. Their style of storytelling is all about showing real, funny and heartwarming family moments. They always explain scenes in a way that is really easy and fun for us to understand and perform,” he shares.
For Kavish, the atmosphere on set is another reason he looks forward to coming in every day. He says the people working behind the scenes are equally responsible for making the experience enjoyable.
“One thing I love the most about the environment at Inspire Films is how positive and caring everyone is. Nobody makes you feel stressed out, and even when we have long shooting hours, the crew makes sure it feels playful, encouraging and full of positive energy,” he says.

The bond he shares with the cast and crew has also made the shooting experience special. Kavish says there is never a dull moment, whether they are shooting a scene, rehearsing lines or simply spending time together between takes.
“The entire cast and crew are like my real elder brothers, sisters and guardians! There is zero-percent boredom on set because everyone shares an amazing bond, both on and off screen. Whether we are rehearsing lines together or joking around between shots, we are always laughing,” he adds.
With the show bringing together humour, family relationships and everyday moments, Kavish believes viewers will find something familiar in the Parik family. He hopes audiences enjoy watching the show as much as the cast enjoys making it.
“I just want people to know that *Kyunki Papa Kehte Hain* is a show made with a lot of heart and masti. The world that Inspire Films and Sony SAB have created shows that even when families go through ups and downs, staying together, laughing through the chaos and loving each other is what truly matters! I hope everyone loves watching it as much as we love making it,” he concludes.
